ELAN, HomeLogic, Sunfire and ATON To Showcase More Than Forty New Products

ELAN Home Systems, with sister companies Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON announced today that its upcoming ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ road show will feature previews and demonstrations of the four brands’ 42 newest products. The collective Group of companies’ most ambitious Dealer outreach program to date will kick-off at the Spring 2009 EHX from March 11th through 14th in Orlando, Florida before officially embarking on its 50 city North American tour on March 31st. ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ underscores a landmark product launch year as well as the introduction of major new selling promotions developed to help the Group’s Dealer base prosper during these different times. The announcement was made by Paul Starkey, ELAN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Among the product highlights debuting on the tour is the red-hot new HomeLogic Mobile Control app for the Apple iPhone™ and iPod touch. Already receiving rave advance reviews and accolades posted on the Apple iTunes App Store site by both the trade and end users, HomeLogic Mobil Control is a feature-rich new iPhone and iPod touch application for instant-on, 2-way whole-house control from both inside the home and from anywhere around the world outside the home with access via the Edge, 3G networks or any WIFI Internet connection.

In addition, HomeLogic will preview tight new integration capabilities with both ELAN and Sunfire products, additional interface templates, the latest third party product drivers, and some key new packages to help Dealers sell control systems more easily than ever. HomeLogic is a leading manufacturer of IP based Entertainment and Control systems.

Sunfire, a specialist in the design, manufacture and marketing of luxury audio/video products, will showcase the company’s eagerly awaited new media server which easily accesses up to 850 movies and 7200 CDs. The TGM-100 Theater Grand Media System offers versatile control solutions, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and expandability for up to 7 independent zones for media cataloging and playback. Also shown will be the Theater Grand Media Server’s many peripheral pieces, which in total make up a compelling system, including two new robust, scalable, enterprise-grade TGM Hard Drive Systems that ensure reliable backup with 3TB and 6TB capacity models and the TGM-DVC which enables Sunfire’s TGM-100’s second interface output to be used with ELAN’s VIA! Touch Panels. Sunfire will also debut the HRS-9IC In-Ceiling Speaker Line offering the perfect match to the company’s HRS satellites and subwoofers.

ATON, the Group’s newest company and a manufacturer of high-end, extremely affordable home audio and video signal routing products, will showcase all of its recently introduced product hits including the world’s first Digi5 products for end-to-end digital audio over Cat-5. ATON’s tour offerings include its DLA Speaker Level Audio Routers, the world’s first speaker selector with IR and RF remote control; the DH44 Digital Audio Router and DHTP1 Amplified Touchpad, an end-to-end digital solution for multi-room audio distribution; and the HDR44 HD Video Router which allows for high definition video viewing in tandem with analog and digital audio throughout the house; plus the company’s Storm Speaker line consisting of 18 in-ceiling, in-wall, home theater and outdoor models all voiced by musicians.

ELAN Home Systems, the team’s leading manufacturer of award-winning Multi-Room audio/video and home control systems, will weigh in with more than two dozen new products alone including the spectacular, newly designed Elios™ line of Cinema and Architectural Speakers consisting of 19 models featuring unique, patent-pending “Nano-Tech” hybrid tweeter and a one-of-kind, patent-pending clamping system.

The company will also showcase its IP8, a new, cost-effective, system-enhancing single component that gives Installers the ability to place up to 8 ELAN wireless touch panels in up to 8 zones; the new DT22 Dual AM/FM SIRIUS-Ready Tuner that lets clients enjoy independent radio station listening in different rooms throughout the house; the SC1 Serial Controller which allows for reliable control of any serial device from anywhere in the home; and the new D12 12-Channel Digital Power Amplifier that delivers outstanding reliability and sound, and a new level of dependability and performance in multi-channel amplification.

In addition, ELAN will debut component and composite video controllers including its new V85 Component Video Controller which meets the rigid standards of 1080p hi-def video, and adds the convenience of being able to distribute the bold, brilliant pictures of hi-def video throughout the house over Cat-5 cable, and its new V8 Composite Video Controller which builds on the legacy of the Z*880 by delivering outstanding performance, versatility and reliability with the addition of even more must-have, system-enhancing features.

ELAN will also introduce half-dozen Dealer favorite core products with the Company’s sleek, new elegant designs including four controllers, a power amplifier and a communications controller.

“Our goal in mounting the largest-ever Dealer outreach program in our history: is simple: to present Dealers with the resources necessary not only to survive, but to thrive in these challenging times; and to show how our collective group of companies offers the broadest product assortment and is dedicated to supporting them in every way possible,” said Mr. Starkey. “Dealer reception to the road show has been phenomenal. We are expecting attendance for ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ to exceed the originally projected 3,500 attendees throughout its duration as many of the tour sessions are already sold out or close to selling out, and as a result we have had to add several shows within the past two weeks.”

‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ officially hits the road March 31st in Kansas City, Missouri with stops in more than 30 states including Hawaii and will end on June 3rd in Toronto, Canada. The tour will bring the collective Companies’ newest products and technologies to tour destinations that are all located within a short drive for roughly 90% of ELAN Group Dealers. Dealers will be given free admission, with advance registration, and special tour-only promotions will be offered to attending Companies. Prizes will be awarded to Dealers at all tour sessions. At the close of the tour, there will be a major drawing where eight lucky road show Dealer attendees will win either one of four major systems from ELAN, Sunfire, HomeLogic or ATON, or one of four iPod touch products.
