Dialogic Adds Media Gateway Service Offerings for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
High Availability Service Program Adds Value to Dialogic Media Gateways
San Francisco, CA. October 16, 2007 — Dialogic Corporation (“Dialogic”), a global leader in providing world-class products and technologies for media processing, today announced an enhanced High Availability Media Gateway Service Program at the Microsoft Unified Communications Launch 2007 in San Francisco. The program allows Dialogic Service Partners to bring their own support strengths to Dialogic’s rich service and training offerings. For example, Service Partners can add highly customized levels of onsite support and can help accelerate replacement service for Dialogic Media Gateways. The gateways have been tested by Dialogic for interoperability with Microsoft unified communications technologies: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
“Because we have high confidence that Microsoft unified communications software will streamline communications for end users and increase operational efficiency, Dialogic is making a significant investment to meet the total needs of the system integration channel in support of the Microsoft Unified Communications Launch 2007,” said Nick Jensen, President and CEO of Dialogic Corporation. “We begin by delivering tested and qualified media gateways, and then follow up with a firm commitment to training, service and support programs for the Microsoft channel to ensure that Dialogic Media Gateways are a trusted and valued element in deployments of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 worldwide.”
NEC Phillips recently became a Dialogic Service Partner because it understands the importance of delivering an unparalleled level of service to their customers. “NEC Philips brings together business applications, voice, video and data communications to provide easy-to-use but rich functionality to workers within a single, unified working environment,” explained Edwin Diender, Director of New Business and Strategic Alliances at NEC Phillips. “We facilitate efficient communications and collaboration between colleagues, customers and partners, delivering reduced costs and increased efficiency to the organization. As a Dialogic Service Partner, we are able to further expand our business into new and existing voice infrastructures with Dialogic Media Gateways and Dialogic Pro Services designed around the Microsoft technologies for unified communications.”
Microsoft Corp. and Dialogic are providing customers and systems integrators with a well-integrated unified communications solution. “Dialogic is playing a significant role in the development of PBX to VoIP media gateways that brings added value to enterprise communications software, ” said Eric Swift, senior director, Unified Communications Group, at Microsoft Corp. “Dialogic believes in Microsoft’s vision for unified communications, and enabling people to find and collaborate with colleagues right from the applications they already know and use.”
Dialogic is a longstanding Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and is a Silver Sponsor of the Microsoft Unified Communications Launch 2007. The Dialogic Media Gateway portfolio is punctuated by unique PBX integration technology, ranging from the low density Dialogic 1000 Media Gateway Series (DMG1000 Series), well suited for use with Exchange Server 2007 unified messaging, to the recently introduced hybrid gateway technology in the high density Dialogic 4000 Media Gateway Series (DMG4000 Series). Designed for use with Office Communications Server 2007, the hybrid design of the DMG4000 Series combines the media gateway function with the mediation server role of Office Communications Server 2007, a required element when connecting to a PBX or directly to the PSTN. In addition, Dialogic offers the Dialogic 2000 Media Gateway Series (DMG2000 Series), which features T1/E1 connectivity in an easy to deploy and configure appliance architecture for Office Communications Server 2007 and Exchange Server 2007, and the Dialogic 3000 Media Gateway Series (DMG3000 Series), which features BRI to IP interfaces for use in many EU countries for Exchange Server 2007.
Dialogic Media Gateways are qualified for Office Communications Server 2007 and the unified messaging functionality of Exchange Server 2007. Dialogic also offers training and Dialogic Pro Services High Availability Media Gateway Service Contracts to add value to its media gateways.
