The Rattler is the first Fang Series system to offer the P55 platform powered by Intel’s latest Lynnfield processors. This blazing fast platform not only offers stellar performance and speedy processing power, but does it at a modest price range. The new Lynnfield processors take advantage of Intel’s turbo mode for efficient and swift processing to help users churn through tasks. Whether it’s gaming, video editing, graphics design, or just surfing the web, Intel’s latest technology ensures the Rattler is fast and efficient.
The Rattler is powered by Intel’s most overclockable i5-750 CPU and Nvidia’s GTS 250 graphics card, a knockout combination that delivers performance and affordability. Like other Fang series systems, users have the option to inject the Venom Boost technology into their Rattlers at a nominal service fee. The Rattler will be the first Fang Series rig to offer the Ultra OC option — a 30% CPU overclocking option! For a limited time, CyberPower will offer a free Asetek 240mm Ultra OC Certified Liquid Cooling System for cool and silent operation.
Additionally, CyberPower gives all gaming desktops the “Silent Treatment” with its Noise Reduction Technology. The Rattler will be the first Fang Series to incorporate this technology that aims to mitigate noise coming through the system chassis. The Noise Reduction Technology includes four parts and each can be ordered separately — from anti-vibration fan mounts and power supply gaskets to sound absorbing foam and silent, efficient fans. Other Standard features of the Rattler include 4GB of DDR3 memory; a 500 GB SATA II hard drive. Base price of this configuration is $1039. The Rattler can be optioned with Blu-ray and other peripherals to greater enhance users’ multimedia experience.
