Crestron Resort-Wide Control and Automation Technology Now Integrates Intelity Interactive Customer Experience (ICE) to Provide the Only Complete Hospitality Solution

Crestron Electronics, the world leader of advanced enterprise control solutions, and Intelity, a leading innovator of interactive hospitality technology, have joined efforts to deliver the only complete, fully integrated hospitality solution by combining Interactive Customer Experience™ (ICE) with Crestron enterprise control and management technology. The collaboration, which will benefit hoteliers and their guests, will provide the advanced in-room amenities and tracking functionality of ICE, and the property-wide control and monitoring of Crestron control systems and enterprise management software. The intelligent, comprehensive solution enables property managers to centrally manage all guest services and building systems, while increasing revenues, lowering costs and taking the guest experience to new levels, all on a single platform.

“Our new partnership with Intelity allows Crestron to combine an incredible guest services platform, in ICE, with our established property-wide control and management systems, providing the hospitality industry with a complete solution,” explains Crestron Executive Vice President, Randy Klein.

Crestron fully integrated hospitality solutions integrate lighting and shade control, audio/video distribution, environmental system control, asset management, room scheduling, security and more, across an entire property. Crestron Green Light™ technology delivers breakthrough environmental control, substantially reducing energy usage and utility costs. RoomView™ enterprise management software allows managers to centrally monitor, manage and control all technology in guest rooms, ballrooms and meeting rooms, guest services, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, Fitness & Spa, retail shops, pools and courtyards. Additionally, Crestron enterprise control and management systems and ICE integrate seamlessly with the PMS (property management systems) to enable resort-wide automation, monitoring and management of all technology.

“The Intelity-Crestron partnership offers hoteliers a robust solution for monitoring property activity and providing customizable guest experiences,” says David Adelson, Intelity founder and CEO. “Intelity’s ICS and Crestron’s back-end system allow hoteliers to track usage of the solution, historically and in real-time. Currently, Crestron provides the only completely integrated building operations and infrastructure management and control solution — we are thrilled to be working with them.”

ICE is a revolutionary in-room guest services solution with detailed monitoring and analytical functionality that organizes, tracks and measures all hotel activity with the touch of a button. Allowing guests to control the travel experience, ICE enables convenient access to all property amenities such as scheduling tee-times, ordering room service, booking excursions and spa services, requesting valet, checking flight status or printing boarding passes and more, all from the in-room touchpanel. Adding to the robustness of ICE is the ICE Control System (ICS), a management and monitoring solution which allows hoteliers to analyze, identify and reduce or eliminate wasteful expenses by tracking activity throughout the property, using real-time charts, graphs and spreadsheets. The ICE system is conveniently accessed, combining the broad functionality of ICE with Crestron control of in-room lighting, thermostats, shades and entertainment, right from an intuitive graphical touchscreen interface.
