Bringing Multi-Room Audio to Windows Media Center

Ft. Collins, CO, February 9, 2009 — CasaTools, a leader in PC based multi-room audio systems, today announced it has joined the Media Center Integrator Alliance (MCIA). Comprised of some of the industry’s top companies, MCIA was founded to provide both integrators and manufacturers with best practices and training for technologies that make up the Media Center ecosystem. Through this membership, CasaTools seeks to collaborate with the custom integration channel and leverage the Media Center ecosystem community.

MCIA is an open and independent non-profit consortium formed to advance and administer the support, promotion, and enrichment of the media center ecosystem. Founding members of MCIA include AMD, Crestron, HP, Intel, Life|ware, Microsoft Corp., and Niveus Media.
