Beyerdynanic Create Your Own Headphone now available for the DT 770, 880 and 990 Models

At CES 2009, the 80+ year-old German audio manufaktur, beyerdynamic, will also be kicking off their “Create Your Own Headphone” for the product range DT 770, DT 880 and DT 990 via customizing design software on their web site. The customer can configure their headphone for multi colors, designs, and accessories plus personalized engravings to create a unique headphone. There is also a program for dealers participation as well.

As stated by Alan Feckanin, beyerdynamic’s Business Unit Manager for Consumer Products; “Our online headphone configuator has been very successful in Europe and is now being launched from our U.S. headquarters in Farmingdale, NY. All models will be assembled by order and shipped directly to the customer. The real time software display is very unique in the industry”.

beyerdynamic Inc. has been assembling the General Aviation headset HS 300 “Build Your Own” since 2007. As mentioned by Alan Feckanin: “Now the consumer electronics customer will be able to customize a personal version of the DT 770, DT 880 or DT 990 via the beyerdynamic “Manufaktur” link on our web site: www.beyerdynamic-usa.com
