AVAD Inks Distribution Agreement with ATON

America’s Leading Distributor of Custom Home Electronics Adds
Multi-Room Audio/Video Signal Routing Manufacturer to Roster of Best Brands

Van Nuys, Calif. — February 27, 2008 — AVAD LLC, America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced today that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with ATON, a Lexington, Ky. based premier provider of home audio and video signal routing and distribution products.

By partnering with AVAD, ATON will have access to AVAD’s extensive network of over 14,000 dealers, enabling the company to broaden its reach within the custom installation market. AVAD will also provide ATON dealers with the best and most frequent training, technical and application support, as well as next day delivery for more responsive customer service, improved turns and higher profits.

“ATON’s signal routing technologies provide AVAD dealers with a comprehensive line of intuitive products that they need on a daily basis,” said Bob Gartland, AVAD president. “We are confident our dealers will appreciate the addition of ATON’s innovative products to our roster of best brands, which will provide greater flexibility and functionality when choosing and designing systems for their customers.”

Effective immediately, AVAD will distribute ATON’s Dynamic Level Adjustment (DLA) Speaker Level Audio Routers at each of its 37 US locations and new Toronto facility. ATON’s DLA technology features a logic circuit that actively monitors how many rooms are on, along with their respective volume levels, to deliver maximum available power to each room while protecting the speakers and amplifier from damage. The four DLA Speaker Level Audio Router models also include both RF and IR control selectors, an industry first.

“AVAD’s choice to bring ATON products to its reseller base validates our solutions to the market place,” said Bob Williams, ATON general manager. “We could not ask for a better partner.”

AVAD is expected to add ATON’s new Digital & Analog Line Level Audio Routers and Hi-Def Video Level Routers beginning summer 2008.
