Alteva Rolls Out Cost-Effective Call Recording for Hosted Customers

Hosted VoIP Leader Continues To Showcase Advantages Over Premise-Based PBX Systems

Philadelphia, PA — January 20, 2009 — Alteva, North America’s largest provider of enterprise hosted VoIP, today announced it has added call recording to its hosted platform. Now customers in other customer-service driven industries can record and manage critical communication using Alteva’s call recording solution, Alteva Archive. Alteva Archive is completely secure, cost effective, and comes with an easy-to-use Internet application.

With no software installation, management, or training required, customers can simply go online and manage their recoded phone data. Because the service is hosted and therefore has no significant up-front cost barrier, even smaller businesses can now improve operations, as well as innovate their customer offerings and improve their competitive edge.

Early adopters of Alteva Archive are already seeing the operational benefits, as well as the ability to gain a competitive business edge.

“Alteva’s suite of proven communication service offerings help us drive new growth opportunities, and has the potential to ultimately transform businesses communications,” said Bob Paglione, CEO of Benefit Consultants Group (BCG), a Delran, N.J.-based, third-party administrator serving the financial services industry for 50 years. “Call recording reduces costs and complexity, while improving productivity for customers and business growth.”

Implications for an affordable, reliable call recording system with superior data encryption are enormous for many industries. Even small brokerage firms could afford to add a completely innovative service: taking equity orders over the phone. Medical and legal professionals, who also must comply with strict regulatory and compliance restrictions, can protect themselves and their customers, ensuring accurate communication when someone’s life or legal defense may depend on it.

“Any customer-service driven business is a prime candidate for hosted call recording,” said William Bumbernick, CEO of Alteva. “Remote workforces not only need accurate communication, but they need a way to analyze, document and share the valuable marketing data that is gathered on the fly during customer calls.”

Sales, compliance, customer service, inter-office communication, training–all brought to a different level with Alteva’s hosted call recording.

Pricing for Alteva Archive is available for a monthly fee of $35-50 per seat (based on volume), and $50 per seat to activate. The system is available directly from Alteva, or through resellers and distributors offering the Alteva Hosted solutions.
