Windows Vista introduces a new method for adding memory to a system called ReadyBoost. It uses a removable flash memory device, such as a USB thumb drive, to improve system performance by retrieving data from flash memory quicker than data stored on a hard disk.
The RIDATA EZ Drive lineup of USB devices boasts two drives that recently earned the 2006 Taiwan Symbol of Excellence Award (Boy and Girl and Laser Pointer) presented by the Taiwan National Economic Affairs department. Common Features
All RIDATA EZ Drives offer true plug-and-play convenience and backward compatible function. Each is compliant with USB 2.0 with a full-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps. All are compatible with USB 1.1. No external power or battery is needed, as each is powered by a USB port on any compatible desktop or laptop computer. A power-saving mode reduces power consumption.
The highly transportable, lightweight and compact EZ Drive USB flash drives are available in capacities ranging from 128 to 4GB (except for Boy and Girl which goes up to 2GB, EZ Funky and Mini Spin which is up to 8GB). Each has an LED light indicator and comes with a two-year warranty.

Fun EZ Drive Character Series USB Flash Drives with Two-Port HUB Functionality
The uniquely designed RIDATA Character USB Flash Drives includes five fun designs with two additional USB ports, allowing virtually limitless multiple USB connections. Since it creates more USB ports, users can plug in more mobile devices. It is a series of RIDATA products featuring additional USB hubs (designs are Uniform, Book, Monkey, Elephant, and Puzzle). Together, the products allow users to choose compatible USB flash drives with different designs and colors. EZ Drive Fingerprint USB Flash Drive
Designed primarily for use in professional applications, the RIDATA Fingerprint USB Flash Drive integrates several advanced biometric-verification technologies to ensure user authenticity as well as provide secure data storage. No password or special software is needed. It features a read access speed of up to 9MB/sec and a write access speed of up to 8.3MB/sec.
EZ Drive Twinkle USB Flash Drive
Featuring a dainty design with translucent and multicolored housing, the RIDATA Twinkle USB Flash Drive has an advanced partition and security function that makes it possible for users to create password-protected sectors for the storage of personal or highly confidential material.
EZ Drive Laser Pointer USB Flash Drive — Supports Ready Boost Technology
Made with the business professional in mind, this high-speed USB flash drive has a built-in class II laser pointer, and will make a 0.4-inch spot from approximately 11 feet. The RIDATA Laser Pointer USB Flash Drive performs data transfer at a rate up to 19MB/s for read and14MB/s for write in dual-channel mode, and up to 10MB/s for read and 7MB/s for write in single-channel mode.
