If you’re feeling the heat this summer, here’s a cool excuse to head down to Raleigh: the Focal Naim America showcase at Audio Advice Live 2025 is set to be one of the hottest—and coolest—spots in the show. Bringing their latest high-end audio firepower, Focal Naim will debut an immersive 7.4.4 home theater setup alongside the sleek new Focal Diva Mezza Utopia wireless speakers and the Bathys MG wireless headphones.
These standout products are already generating buzz and could easily become the talk of the show. With summer temperatures soaring, nothing beats chilling out in the Hannover I ballroom, surrounded by killer sound and plenty of air conditioning.
CanJam Raleigh?

If you’re itching for a mini-CanJam right in Raleigh, Focal Naim’s got you covered at Audio Advice Live 2025. They’re bringing almost their entire lineup of award-winning headphones—Utopia, Stellia, Clear Mg, Hadenys, and Azurys—all paired up with the Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition for a seriously high-fidelity experience.
And if you want to try something fresh, don’t miss the new Focal Bathys MG wireless ANC headphones. They pack a magnesium driver for top-tier performance on the go, alongside the original Bathys wireless models. Just a heads-up though—expect the usual CanJam crowd hovering around the demo stations, because good gear like this always attracts a line longer than a vinyl queue at a Record Store Day drop.
And if you’re hoping to snag a demo of the Focal Bathys MG without waiting forever, don’t be surprised if Rod “The Bod” Brind’Amour elbows his way to the front of the line—because when you’re the head coach of the Hurricanes, even the headphone queue knows who’s boss.
Focal Naim 7.4.4 Immersive Home Theater Demo at Audio Advice Live 2025

The Focal Naim 7.4.4 immersive home theater setup on display at Audio Advice Live 2025 is nothing short of a reference-level cinematic powerhouse — but it’s going to require a serious room and an even more serious budget.
At the heart of the system is the brand-new Focal Utopia Cinema line, designed exclusively for home cinema with precision, clarity, and gut-punch impact. This includes five Cinema LCR speakers priced at $11,999 each, and four Cinema Subs at $5,999 each. The 7.4.4 setup also features the Focal 1000 Series architectural speakers for Atmos and surround duties, including IWLCR Utopia ($8,499 each), IWSUB Utopia ($3,299 each), and ICLCR5 ($2,699 each) Atmos modules.
Driving it all are four Naim CI-NAP 101 amplifiers and the flagship Focal Astral 16 processor, supported by Vicoustic room treatments, a 200” screen, Sony’s VPL-GTZ380 projector ($88,500), and a Kaleidescape movie player.
Altogether, the Focal and Naim gear alone tops $150,000 — making this immersive theater demo a vivid reminder that truly top-tier home cinema isn’t for the faint of wallet or cramped living room.
Focal Diva Mezza Utopia Makes Its U.S. Debut at Audio Advice Live 2025

Focal just threw down the gauntlet with the Diva Mezza Utopia, a $69,900 wireless speaker system that’s basically a middle finger to tradition and tariffs alike. Picture this: you crawl off a soul-crushing 10-hour flight from Hell—legs numb, ears ringing from crying babies, still muttering about €9 croissants and airport coffee that tastes like a French conspiracy. Then, bam. Inbox hit with news that Focal, unbothered by global supply chain chaos or anyone’s budget, just unleashed a pair of wireless floorstanders that cost more than your car.
Yes, seventy grand. For wireless. And no separates. Because apparently, separates are passé if you’ve got deep pockets and a Wi-Fi signal strong enough to stream in UWB glory. This isn’t your grandma’s speaker system. The Diva Mezza Utopia is a 3-way beast, packing a beryllium M-profile tweeter, a ‘W’ cone mid-bass, and four 8-inch push-push woofers per speaker that don’t just play music—they launch it like an SAS assault on your eardrums.
Each speaker cranks out 500 watts of Class A/B amplification, connected by cutting-edge Ultra-Wideband wireless tech and steered by the Naim Pulse platform. Whether you’re streaming via AirPlay 2, Google Cast, HDMI eARC, or optical, this system screams next-gen hi-fi with a touch of French elegance and a big dose of “He Who Dares, Wins.”
The worst part? Knowing these things will probably be phenomenal. I haven’t heard them yet, but after time with the original Diva Utopia, I’m betting disappointment won’t be on the menu. These wireless wonders won’t just play music—they’ll serve it with the kind of polish that makes you question every penny you threw at your “affordable” gear.
So buckle up, because Focal isn’t just making a statement here—they’re reminding us that sometimes in this game, you pay not just for sound, but for the sheer guts to say, “Separates? Non merci. We’re going wireless, and we’re going big.” Bravo, Focal. Someone had to do it.

Although most Focal equipment is out of my spending range I do respect the company for sticking to its focus on producing high-end, elegant looking products that command a prospective buyer’s attention and also cause some of us lower-end audiophiles to examine the possibilities of opening up our checkbooks.
And those wireless products? I am happy to see this kind of commitment to non-traditional hi-fi from an established hi-fi brand.

David,
Same. Just totally out of my budget. During the pandemic, Focal/Naim flew me down to Houston to experience the first “Focal Powered by Naim” store in the United States. During the visit, I was given the opportunity to spend over an hour listening to the reference Focal/Naim system. Had to be close to $700,000 worth of equipment and speakers. Didn’t move me at all. Totally underwhelmed. I walked out of the room (said nothing…just smiled politely) and sat down at the Focal Headphone Bar in the adjacent room and listened to the Naim Uniti Atom HE with 3 of the best Focal headphones. Fantastic. I could have sat for days. I fly home after two days of exploring Houston (good record stores and even better Vietnamese food) and spend a few months with the Focal Chora loudspeakers driven by the Uniti Atom and other equipment at home (NAD, Cambridge, Schiit). Totally great speakers. Under $1,000.
Having listened to a lot of Naim and Focal over the past 30 years (I owned a Naim system from 1998 to 2002), my observation is that the real value is at the entry-level with both brands. You can create a great system with a number of combinations.
