CES 2008 – Las Vegas, NV – January 4, 2008 – XIAS (pronounced: ki-as) will be making bold and colorful statements at 2008 CES, as it introduces the latest additions to its line of slim, elegant digital cameras. They are the 12-megapixel DCS-1260 and the availability of the DCS-860 in four fashionable colors. All XIASTM digital cameras are designed by an award winning international product design firm.

OThese new additions to the XIASTM digital camera lineup continue that tradition. Users will enjoy the many features found in the model of their choosing in addition to sleek styling.O

XIASTM DCS-1260 12-Megapixel Digital Camera
Capturing high-resolution images of up to 4000X3000, the XIASTM DCS-1260 12-megapixel camera offers superior image clarity. Special Face-Tracking capability identifies faces within the frame and automatically adjusts for the ideal focus and exposure. Its Anti-Shake feature compensates for camera movement, resulting in crisp, clean images.

Viewing and reviewing shots are easy with the large 3O, scratch-resistant LTPS TFT LCD color display. The unit has both 3X optical and 4X digital zoom capabilities for exciting close-up possibilities. Movie mode captures AVI or MPEG-4 video clips with up to 30-seconds of audio. Playback is in either NTSC or PAL formats.

21 picture-taking modes (including movie, voice REC, portrait, landscape, text, back light, snow, fireworks, sports, and food among others) ensure that users capture the perfect picture every time under virtually any conditions. A built-in flash includes: auto, red-eye reduction, always-on, slow-sync, forced-on, and forced-off modes.

The XIASTM DCS-1260 digital camera offers six-mode white balance settings of manual, daylight, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent, and custom to assure the color accuracy and clarity needed for consistently high quality photography. The unit comes with 32MB internal memory as well as an external Secure Digital flash slot to assure ample image and/or video-clip storage.

The XIASTM DCS-1260 digital camera comes complete with user manual, camera bag, wrist strap, software CD, and USB and AV cables for connection to a computer or TV. A Lithium Ion rechargeable battery (included) eliminates the need for AA batteries.

Pricing and Availability
The XIASTM DCS-1260 12-megapixel digital camera has an estimated street price of $249.99 and will be available for shipping in Q2 2008.

XIASTM DCS-860 Digital Camera Available in Four Fashionable Colors
XIAS will also be introducing at 2008 CES four new color models to the recently introduced DCS-860 8-megapixel digital camera. The colors are: white, blue, pink, and metallic graphite.

Like the DCS-1260, the DCS-860 is packed with performance enhancing features. These include Face Tracking capability and Anti-Shake technology; ability to capture exceptional, high-resolution images of up to 3264X2448 pixels; 13 picture-taking modes; built-in flash; and a 2.5O, scratch-resistant, LTPS TFT color LCD display.

It also has both a 3X optical and 4X digital zoom; a variety of white balance settings; the capability to take MPEG-4 video clips with audio; and 16MB internal memory and external SD/MMC flash storage compatibility.

Pricing and Availability
The XIASTM DCS-860 8-megapixel digital camera has an estimated street price of $179.99 and the metallic graphite model is currently available with the other colors coming later in 2008.

The 2008 International CES takes place January 7-10 in Las Vegas, NV. The XIASTM products can be seen in the Central Hall, booth #15023, in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
