Xerox 7600i Flatbed Scanner

Xerox introduced the budget-priced 7600i multipurpose flatbed color scanner, able to scan, organize and share almost anything with one touch. The device can scan up to 1200 x 1200 dpi in 48-bit color and comes bundled with a suite of document and image management software that streamlines scanning processes.

The Xerox 7600i scanner includes Visioneer OneTouch scanning technology to eliminate the multiple steps usually required to send scanned documents or photos to an application. With OneTouch scanning technology users can touch one button and complete the scanning task, not just launch the program.

The Xerox 7600i scanner includes three front panel buttons to scan, copy, and e-mail. The buttons are pre-configured at the optimal settings for these most common scanning tasks, enabling first-time users to begin scanning immediately. Users can quickly customize any of the buttons for even more functionality or to suit their own scanning needs and preferences.

The Xerox 7600i comes bundled with software that includes tools to edit, crop and retouch scanned images and then organize the files into folders. Users are also able to scan and automatically upload their documents to popular cloud destinations such as Google Docs, Evernote, DropBox, Box.net and others with the touch of one button.

“Weighing just 3.3 pounds, measuring less than 1.5 inches tall, and powered solely by the USB port, the Xerox 7600i is a truly portable scanner. The extendable hinge and removable lid provides the added benefits of versatility for scanning books, magazines or oversized objects,” said Bob Scaglia, senior vice president of sales for Visioneer, a Xerox licensing partner.

Pricing and Availability
The Xerox 7600i is available now for $99.99.
