Xantech introduces the stylish XIS100 iPod Docking Station, the industry’s first such product designed for the high-resolution television revolution. It features a unique component video output capability that will enable owners of the new 480P video output iPods to see their video in full native resolution on a plasma, LCD or other compatible TV screen with component video output. The XIS100 is the result of an international collaborative effort involving Asian manufacturing and engineering, European design, and Xantech’s own American engineering. The unit sets a new standard for both Xantech – the company who invented whole-house A/V distribution – and the industry in general. The XIS100 features a unique on-screen menu display and control system and is compatible with the latest iPod video technology. With RS-232, the XIS100 is fully compatible with third-party controllers, as well as Xantech’s MRC88m, when used with SmartPad LCD Touch Panel Controllers (another Xantech product).
