The soundbar market appears to be getting stronger with each new product cycle and Vizio has announced seven new entries for 2024 ranging in price from $99.00 to $499.00 USD. The most surprising development is the introduction of an entry-level model priced below $100 that supports Dolby Atmos for the first time.
Vizio 2024 Soundbars
QuickFit: This feature allows users to attach any of their soundbars to the bottom of a TV with two included thumb screws, sliding underneath the posts of the TV with just a click.
Surround Sound Format Support: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Dolby Audio decoding are included with additional DTS Virtual:X processing support.
Tech Note: Keep in mind that for most of these soundbars, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are reproduced virtually as there are no height-channel speakers (except for the Elevate SE – more on that later).
Enhanced Dialog Mode (Clear Dialog): This feature provides more even volume levels and dialog presence.
Bluetooth ver 5.2: You can use Bluetooth to play music from compatible devices, such as smartphones, or connect an Amazon Echo device to access Alexa voice assistant features or play music from the echo device through the soundbar.
HDMI-eARC: This feature passes audio from the TV to the soundbar using the HDMI-ARC/eARC connection on the TV and soundbar. This connection also allows users to use their Vizio soundbar remote to control basic TV functions, such as power, and volume. For select Vizio TVs, via HDMI-eARC the soundbar remote can access the TV’s settings menu. Also, the TV’s remote can be used to control the soundbar which eliminates the need for a secondary remote, integrating the audio control menu directly into the TV.
Vizio Mobile App: All of the soundbars are compatible with the Vizio Mobile App (iOS, Android) which provides access to settings (including bass, treble, and speaker levels) to fine-tune your soundbar listening experience.

Along with its technical enhancements, the 2024 VIZIO Soundbar lineup is designed to complement any interior decor; textures with satin-finished enclosures, and low physical profiles are designed to align with a TV and living space. This soundbar lineup places as much attention and care to design as it does on room-filling sound.
2024 VIZIO Soundbars
VIZIO SV200M-08 2.0 ($99.00)
In addition to the features listed above, this entry-level model in Vizio’s soundbar is 30 inches wide and incorporates a 2-channel configuration with two full-range drivers,
VIZIO SV210X-08 2.1 SE ($149.00)
As the immediate step-up model from the SV200M08, the SV210X08 SE packages a 2.0 channel 30-inch soundbar with two full-range drivers with a compact wireless subwoofer to deliver more impact for TV viewing.
VIZIO SV210M-08 2.1 ($169.00)
Similar to the SV210X08 SE, this soundbar package also combines a 30-inch soundbar with 2 full-range drivers but has a slightly larger wireless subwoofer for more bass impact.
VIZIO SV210D-08 All-in-One Soundbar ($129.00)
This soundbar has the distinction of receiving a 2024 iF Design Awad. It houses 2 full-range speakers and 2 integrated 3” subwoofers built right into the soundbar cabinet. If you want to save space and would like to get some subwoofer performance without the clutter of an external subwoofer, this might be a good choice for you.
VIZIO SV510X-08 5.1 SE ($229.00)
This soundbar elevates the TV viewing experience further with the combination of a 33-inch soundbar, 3 full-range drivers, 2 low-profile surround sound speakers, and a compact wireless subwoofer with a 4.7-inch driver.
VIZIO 5SV510M-08 5.1 ($249.00)
Similar to the.SV510X-08 SE, this a 5.1-channel soundbar system that combines a 33-inch soundbar, 3 full-range drives, 2 surround sound speakers, and a wireless subwoofer that is slightly larger than the one that comes with the SE version.
VIZIO Elevate SL512X-08 SE ($499.00)
The unique feature of this soundbar is that it includes auto-rotating Adaptive Height Speakers on the ends of its 36-inch wide soundbar, 3 full-range drivers, two wireless surround speakers, and a 6-inch wireless subwoofer. The adaptive height speakers activate when Dolby Atmos content is detected. The Elevate SL512X08 SE is also a 2024 iF Design Award winner.
