Ultralink/XLP brings two new series of cables to CEDIA 20006

ULTRALINK/XLO INTRODUCES TWO NEW CABLE LINES AT CEDIA 2006 -Especially for
the specialty custom installer, Ultralink unveils the all-new
CS1 cable series and the newly redesigned Challenger-2 series.

September 14, 2006 – CEDIA EXPO, Denver, Colorado and Ontario, California –
Ultralink/XLO Products, Incorporated-the industry’s fastest growing
manufacturer of audio/video interconnects, cables and power products-brings
two new series of cables to CEDIA 20006. The Ultralink CS1 Series and the
Challenger-2 Series are designed to bridge the gap between superior A/V
performance and affordability.

“The CS1 Series is a new interconnect line specially designed to meet the
needs of custom installers who want premium performance cables at entry
level prices,” states Don Bouchard, Ultralink’s Executive Vice President and
Chief Marketing Officer. “The newly updated Challenger-2 Series is a step-up
performance line that is value-packed with entirely new metal connectors
designed and manufactured exclusively by Ultralink.”

The CS1 cables incorporate world famous Ultralink performance and value in a
budget-priced, solution-oriented line that covers the full range of audio
and video cables in both analog and digital. Ultralink CS1 utilizes advanced
metallurgy and cable geometry with new molded-end design connectors to
achieve performance levels never before reached by cables at these low
prices.

“Even the packaging is breakthrough,” Mr. Bouchard reports. “The novel
design bridges the gap between bulk-bags and retail blister packs in a
special anti-static display bag that has never before been used in the
consumer electronics industry. It is packaging that, for the first time, is
equally and efficiently at home either on a showroom display rack or in the
back of an installers van.”

Mr. Bouchard continues, “The best installers realize that the fine work they
do can easily be compromised by cheap cables. As home installation becomes
more and more a commodity offered by big-box retailers, the specialty CI
industry is learning that they need to start the job right by building in
the good stuff.”

The full CS1 cable line includes: HDMI, S-Video, Composite Video, Digital
Toslink, Component Video, Digital Coax, Audio, Subwoofer, Stereo Audio +
Video and Standard Speaker cables.

As the second part of their one-two CEDIA punch, Ultralink has updated their
venerable Challenger line with the introduction of their entirely new
Challenger-2 Series. According to Mr. Bouchard, “This step-up performance
series is value-packed with entirely new metal connectors designed and
manufactured by Ultralink. The advanced metallurgy conductors and cable
geometry specifically matched to the new connectors assure peak, tip-to-tip
impedance and performance.”

The Challenger-2 Series of analog and digital audio and video
cables-including HDMI, DVI, bulk cable and connectors-offers performance
levels never before available at these price points. Ultralink’s new
Challenger-2 Series is available packaged in either retail clamshell designs
or installer friendly bulk bags.

“As part of a complete Ultralink Signal Delivery System, our CS1 and
Challenger-2 Series provide application specific solutions to the challenges
of the ever-changing and demanding market brought on by performance
enhancements and evolving standards,” concludes Bouchard.
