TV One debuts the new Universal Multi-Input Video & Audio Processor at ISE 2008

TV One is pleased to announce that the new C2-3360 Universal Multi-Input Video and Audio Processor will be making its showcase debut at the up-coming ISE 2008 Exhibition being held in Amsterdam next month. TV One, who are already world renowned for their superior video scaling and conversion technology have now added universal inputs to their units as well as remarkable audio processing, giving users a multitude of available functions all within the one box.

“There is a clear need in todays market to be as flexible as possible”, says Steven Mattingly, Managing Director of TV One. “We believe that our new C2-3000 Series gives our customers the flexibility and freedom that they require whilst remaining a cost-effective solution for their video and audio processing needs.”

As part of a brand new series of switcher/scaler units which are due to be released next year, the C2-3360 will no doubt be a crowd pleaser at the ISE 2008 Exhibition. Using the same award-winning CORIO technology that is the back bone behind all of C2 products available from TV One, the C2-3360 is an 8 Universal Input Video and Audio Processor with an astounding arsenal of features including Genlock, Picture-in-Picture, Seamless Switching, Edgeblending, Chroma & Luma Keying and Program & Preview outputs. Universal inputs are available via HD-15 (CV, YC, YPbPr and RGBHV) connectors. The 2 program outputs are via a universal HD-15 connector (CV, YC, YPbPr and RGBHV) and a DVI Connector. Both of these outputs can be used simultaneously. A third next-source preview output is also available via an HD-15 connector. A variety of formats and resolutions can be accommodated by the C2-3360 including all known SD and HDTV formats plus any analog RGB resolution up to 2048×2048.

As well as the video processing engine, the C2-3360 also includes an integral audio processor capable of processing up to 8 channels of Balanced Stereo Audio inputs via terminals and boasts standard features such as Audio Follow Video and Audio Breakaway. Audio Program and Preview outputs are also available via terminals on the back of the unit.

Control of the C2-3360 couldn’t be simpler with easy to use front panel push buttons, alternatively there is an available IP and RS-232 connection and a Windows control Panel will also be available for the ultimate in control flexibility. Like most C2 products available from TV One, the C2-3360 is compatible with the CC-300 Hardware Control Panel, a video production switcher type interface which provides total control of the C2-3360 with a minimum of keystrokes. Like all other CORIO2-based products, firmware updates for the C2-3360 can be downloaded for free from TV One’s website.

This product is being demonstrated at the up-coming ISE 2008 Exhibition being held in Amsterdam from 29th to 31st January next year.
