Tripp Lite Introduces New Isobar Audio/Video Power Center With Detachable Power Cord for Flat-Panel TVs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL (September 26, 2007)–Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, has introduced a new version of its popular HT2210ISOCTR Isobar Audio/Video Power Center for flat-panel TVs. The new HT2210ISOCTR features convenient detachable power cords with right-angle plugs and 24k gold plug contacts in place of the integrated cord and plug of earlier models. Two power cords (18-inch and 10-foot) with NEMA 5-15P plugs are supplied with the unit.

“Detachable power cords in two lengths add to this power center’s versatility,” said Tripp Lite Senior Product Manager Karenann Brow. “The short 18-inch cord reduces cable clutter when the TV is installed in close proximity to an AC outlet. The long 10-foot cord gives users more flexibility to install the TV at a location where the outlet is not easily accessible. For additional flexibility, an included remote AC/DC control jack permits remote on/off control from an external component.”

The new HT2210ISOCTR Audio/Video Power Center retains all the features that made it a winner when first introduced. Premium Isobar technology with 5100 joules of surge protection stops damaging power surges and filters disruptive EMI/RFI line noise. Other features include two AC outlets, three diagnostic LEDs, circuit breaker, fail-safe thermal fusing, audible alarm, low-profile metal housing and included mounting brackets. The HT2210ISOCTR Power Center comes with a lifetime product warranty and $100,000 Ultimate Lifetime Insurance coverage (USA/Canada only) for connected components.
