Orlando, Florida, January 17, 2008–Tributaries Cable is pleased to announce its unprecedented eleventh win in the past twelve years for Best Overall Wire & Cable company in the 2008 Inside Track’s Supplier Loyalty Test survey.

Since 1985, Inside Track, a consumer electronics industry newsletter, has been helping the owner-operated independent specialist retailer and custom integrators survive and thrive in the face of mass-market competition. Each year, the Inside Track Supplier Loyalty Test survey provides a chance for retailers to grade their manufactures on 16 parameters including: Product Performance, Reliability, Innovation; Distribution Policies that Support Specialists; Obtainable Profit Margins; Technical Support; Resolution of Service, Return, and Repair Issues; Product Changes/Price Protection; Specialist-Friendly Programs; Quality of Sales Reps; Brand Name Recognition; Appropriate Product Assortment; Ease of Doing Business; Inventory Turns or Ease of Installation/ Use; JIT Delivery; and Dealer Training.

“Tributaries is a very good example of the beneficial impact of good competition. Even though Tributaries finished in first place overall in its group 11 times in the last 12 years – a performance matched by only one other company in this survey – last year AudioQuest had tied them for first place overall in their group,” said Inside Track’s editor, Gisela Schoell. “Clearly,” she continued, “Tributaries saw this as a challenge to do even better. This year [2008], Tributaries improved its grade in every single one of our 16 parameters, 6 times significantly. That performance resulted in 14/16 parameter first places in the Wire & Cable group, all but 2 of which were top tier (A+, A, A-) grades.”

“The market has seen so many changes over the past twelve years. We have never wavered in our dedication to serving the independent retailer and delivering products and services we stand behind,” said Tributaries’ President, Joe Perfito. “Thanks to our dealers and representatives and the entire Tributaries team. We all celebrate this win and will work hard to ensure that 2008 continues the trend!”
