Syntax And Silicon Optix Partner To Develop New Premium Olevia LCD HDTVs

Syntax Groups Corporation and Silicon Optix today announced a partnership to develop a new premium-level family of Olevia LCD HDTVs with HQV powered by Teranex processing.

Slated for availability in Q1 2006, the collaboration between Syntax and Silicon Optix will provide unparalleled front of screen performance not previously available to end users. Syntax’s new premium line of Olevia LCD HDTVs will incorporate a robust array of user-friendly performance controls and Silicon Optix’s high performance video controller technology.

“One of our fundamental business objectives is to address all segments of the market – both the value conscious consumers and those desiring ‘state-of-the-art’ performance and features,” said Sam Miller, Chief Product Officer for Syntax. “Silicon Optix’s expertise in developing the most advanced and powerful video processors available enables our goal to address the ultra high end market.”
