Noted Subwoofer and Speaker maker SVS has announced the availability of the 3000 R|Evolution Series subwoofers following their debut at the 2026 CES.
Building on the technology platform developed for the 17-Ultra R|Evolution and 5000 R|Evolution Series, the 3000 R|Evolution Series represents a re-imagining of what is possible from sealed and ported subwoofers in a slightly smaller form factor.
The 3000 R|Evolution Series incorporates innovations in driver design, amplifier architecture, power management, and DSP, providing lower frequency extension, greater output, and dramatically improved musical accuracy.
The 3000 R|Evolution Series consists of two models:
- SB-3000 R|Evolution, a compact sealed subwoofer engineered for precision and musical refinement.
- PB-3000 R|Evolution, a ported bass reflex design built for room-pressurizing output with reference-grade control.
Core Features
Both models incorporate the following features in common.
High-Excursion 13-inch Driver: The driver is engineered for forceful low-frequency output (down to 17Hz for the SB-3000, and 15Hz for the PB-3000) with controlled distortion.
Flat-Edge Wound Split-Wind Voice Coil: This enables the drivers to maintain magnetic force and responsiveness at high excursion levels
Toroidal Ferrite Magnet Motor: A precision-engineered toroidal ferrite magnet motor with a premium aluminum shorting ring and advanced suspension components provides pinpoint control even at the highest output levels
Class D Amplification: The 3000 RIEvolution series subs incorporate a Class D STA-1200D2 amplifier with a discrete MOSFET output stage that can output 1,200 continuous watts and 4,000+ peak watts when needed.
DSP: The 3000 R|Evolution Series subs include a 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP for handling power delivery, thermal management, and driver control in real time.
Switch-Mode Power Supply: This is designed to maintain consistent performance under varying AC conditions
SVS Subwoofer Control App: Installed on a smartphone (iOS, Android), this app provides for easy setup, tuning, and system integration,n including volume, low-pass filter, phase, polarity, room gain compensation, port tuning modes (PB-3000 R|Evolution only), and up to six parametric EQ bands, with three onboard memory presets for fast system adjustments. Also, an Auto EQ feature is forthcoming for the app that will be able to measure your room characteristics and automatically calculate the needed filters to optimize subwoofer performance.

Bottom Line
SVS Strikes again. We were able to hear the R|Evolution 3000 series subwoofers at CES 2026 and were not disappointed. These subs are packed with engineering innovation (with new driver construction) and power – (1200 watts RMS output and over 4000 watts peak for those brief but important times you need it) – All with prices you wouldn’t expect.
SVS is a company that doesn’t stand still, so it will be interesting to see and hear what they come up with next (they showed their first soundbar at CES 2026).
