Shanling Audio may not be the most widely recognized name in high-end audio, but its growing lineup of well-regarded products continues to earn attention. At High End Munich 2025, taking place from May 15–18, Shanling will showcase five of its top-performing models.
ONIX Zenith XST20 SACD Transport
Shanling’s ONIX Zenith XST20 is a top-loading SACD/CD transport designed for seamless integration with external DACs. It supports CD, multi-layer and single-layer SACD, MQA-CD playback, and delivers pure DSD audio output for SACDs. Outputs include Coaxial, Optical, AES, BNC, and USB, along with two I2S connections—one for SACD and one for Red Book CDs. The XST20 also offers 10 selectable I2S pinout modes for broad system compatibility.
Pro Tip: The USB output does not support SACD playback.

The ECZeroT is Shanling’s new portable CD player, making its debut at High End Munich 2025. While full details have not yet been released, some core features and the U.S. price have been confirmed.
- Battery Operation Option: The ECZeroT has a built-in rechargeable 55mAh battery, and it is also assumed that it can be used with AC power by a provided battery charger/AC adapter (Desktop Mode).
- Vacuum Tubes: In an interesting twist, especially for a portable player, the ECZeroT incorporates Vacuum Tube sound with two JAN6418 tubes.
- DAC: The ECZeroT incorporates s Shanling-developed R2R DAC for optimal listening quality.
- USB: A USB port is also provided so the ECZeroT can be used as a standalone DAC with compatible external digital sources.
- CD to Bluetooth Output: This allows the player to be used with wireless bluetooth headphones/earphones, in addition to wired headphone connectivity options.
The announced US price for the ECZeroT is $589 through Authorized Dealers and Distributors, or the Shanling Store

Shanling HW600 Headphones

The Shanling HW600 Planar Open-Back Wired Headphones feature high-performance planar dynamic drivers with an 86 x 110 mm diaphragm made from ultra-thin 8μm polymer materials. This design enhances rigidity and sensitivity, reducing distortion for clear, dynamic sound across an extended frequency range—even at higher listening levels.
- Wearing Comfort: The headphone cups are crafted from polished, aircraft-grade 7xxx aluminum, and the ear cushions are made from replaceable lambskin. The HW600 also optimizes airflow through dual acoustic chambers to enhance comfort and sound performance.
- Drivers: The HW600 uses 14 neodymium-iron-boron magnets in a dual-sided assembly, achieving a magnetic flux density of 1.8T. With a low impedance of 30Ω, the HW600 is relatively easy to drive and compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.

The Bottom Line
One of the great things about shows like High End Munich is the chance to see and hear a wide range of new gear in one place. However, with so much happening, it can be overwhelming to decide which products stand out. Shanling is stepping up with a strong lineup, showcasing three current models and previewing two new ones. Among the highlights, the ECZeroT portable CD player—combining vacuum tube technology with portability—could be particularly hard for audiophiles to ignore.
It’s also worth noting that 2025 marks the final year of High End Munich before the show moves to Vienna, Austria in 2026 and beyond. Despite ongoing uncertainty around tariffs and international trade, Shanling’s new lineup gives audio enthusiasts plenty to be excited about heading into this new chapter.

The SACD player and DAC/Headphone amplifier are stunning. Hope the tariffs don’t make these outrageously expensive.

They probably will unless the distributor here has enough inventory to ride this out for a few months. The new products have not shipped yet so who knows…
