SE2 Labs Hires Jeff Walker as Vice President of Operations

SE2 Labs, manufacturer of the groundbreaking Integrated Theater Console (ITC One), today announced the hiring of Jeff Walker as its new vice president of operations. Walker’s wealth of marketing and sales experience is expected to prove beneficial to SE2 Labs as the company continues its aggressive pursuit of new dealers.

Walker spent the last nine years as general manager of High Definitions, Inc., a custom installation and specialty A/V firm near Salt Lake City, Utah. During his tenure at the company, Walker managed a team of ISF and THX certified installers while growing annual sales from $1 million to over $2.4 million. Walker’s responsibilities included office management, programming, scheduling, sales, purchasing, training and personnel matters.

“I can’t imagine a better candidate to run the daily operations of SE2 Labs than Jeff Walker,” said SE2 Labs Founder and CEO Michael Pyle. “We both previously managed award-winning CEDIA installation firms, so there is no question he has the experience and knowledge necessary. Considering the progress we’ve made selling product and signing dealers since SE2 Labs’ start-up last year, it’s the right time to add an industry vet like Jeff who can help manage our rapid growth.”

Prior to his time at High Definitions, Walker worked as an outside sales rep for Industrial Piping Products in Salt Lake City, where he helped the company grow from $50,000 in monthly sales to over $500,000. In 1993, he founded JLW Enterprises, LLC, a distribution company focused on supplying resellers with irrigation products. Walker has also received training to install various electronics systems including AMX (ACE Certified), Crestron, Elan Home Systems, Xantech, Lutron, LiteTouch and Vantage control systems.

“When I heard about the ITC One, my first thought was, I wish this product was around when I was doing installations!” said Walker. “The ITC One really takes the guesswork and tedious programming out of a home theater installation, something I can appreciate after seeing the same issues arise time after time for almost 10 years.”

The ITC One is a customizable, high-performance theater console that pre-integrates industry-leading technologies to provide a premium home theater experience. Every ITC One includes DIRECTV high-definition DVR, Dish Network DVR or national cable providers’ DVR (including Comcast, Time Warner, Cox Cable and more), AMX NetLinx Control System, Bryston pre-amp processor with surround sound processor, IcePower high-end D-class amplifiers, Vidikron video processor, Apple Video iPod dock, proprietary remote control, Microsoft Xbox 360 (with Windows Media Center access), Transparent Cable power conditioning, Transparent cabling and cable harness and an anti-noise/vibration system.
Optional features include Blu-ray drive, Apple TV and Nintendo Wii™.

The ITC One has an MSRP of $25,000. For more information about Jeff Walker, the ITC One or SE2 Labs, please visit www.SE2labs.com.
