Oxnard, Calif., (May 8, 2006) — Scosche Industries, a leader of mobile electronics aftermarket accessories, announces it has become an Apple-Approved vendor. As an Apple-Approved vendor, Scosche’s BlueLife Bluetooth and Freestyle products have been certified by Apple and will be included on Apple’s Web site. With this distinction, Scosche becomes a “Made-for-iPod” manufacturer. Scosche’s full line of BlueLife and Freestyle iPod accessories will carry the Made-for-iPod logo on the packaging.

“Scosche’s business is based on quality, principle and reputation. We are pleased to participate in Apple’s made-for-iPod program and are excited about our newly acquired Apple-Approved status,” said Kas Alves, vice president marketing and sales, Scosche Industries. “Our status with Apple confirms the compatibility and quality of our BlueLife and Freestyle iPod products while giving our company and products additional visibility in the marketplace.”

Scosche introduced its award-winning line of BlueLife products late last year and its Freestyle products earlier this year. The product line includes its signature patent-pending Bluetooth wireless interface for iPods for aftermarket brand-name head units and home audio systems. The interface has already won numerous awards including iLounge Best of Show and the CES Innovations Award. Scosche’s Bluetooth wireless technology features digital CD quality, a wireless range of 30 feet and a fifteen hour lithium-ion transmitter battery life. It is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant and supports Bluetooth profile A2DP for continuous streaming audio and can even pair with an unlimited number of receivers allowing users to enjoy music anywhere without wired limitations.

Scosche’s Freestyle accessories include RF remotes designed specifically for 5th generation and iPod Nano’s, Scosche’s new Bluetooth headphones, and a unique sport remote that fits on a user’s wrist or forearm.

Scosche’s Made-for-Apple BlueLife and Freestyle products offer wireless freedom and function for any iPod owner. These products are available at specialty retailers and mass merchants across the country.
