RTIs T4 Handheld Controller Selected As 2007 CES Innovations Honoree

Flagship Wireless Controller to be Showcased at 2007 International CES

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — November 9, 2006 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), the leader in innovative home control solutions, is pleased to announce that its T4 Universal System Controller has been chosen as an International CES Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards honoree in the best Home Theater Accessories Category. All honorees will be featured at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2007.

Products entered in the prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products.

“We are extremely thrilled with the overwhelming response the T4 has garnered from both industry experts and our dealers,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “To be recognized with a CES Innovations Honoree award is a great honor and we’re ecstatic that the T4 continues to be singled out. For example, the T4 was recently named CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Manufacturer’s Excellence Award for Best New Product.”

The T4 is ideal for users who want complete access to all the functions of their home theaters, featuring direct IR control for stand-alone operation, RF output for control processor operation, WiFi for IP control and internet access, and even hard-wired Ethernet and analog video input options. Maintaining the perfect balance between display size and resolution, at 6.4 inches, the LCD is small enough to be a truly hand-held device, yet it provides the full VGA resolution necessary for displaying video windows and web pages. The controller is easily programmable using RTI’s signature TheaterTouch Designer software, making it simple to display custom buttons, text, graphics, and animations.

The Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase will feature honorees by product category at Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Booth #68747.
