Ridata Announces A New Series of Blazing Fast 233X Speed Compact Flash Cards

Up to 16 GB Capacity Cards Offer the Ultimate in High Performance Products for Digital Photographers and Mobile Device Users

Diamond Bar, Calif., September 6, 2007 D Advanced Media, Inc., the manufacturer and marketer of the popular Ridata brand of recordable DVD, flash media, electronic storage products and digital accessories, today launched a new 233X lightning fast speed, 16GB capacity Compact Flash memory card. It features the largest capacity and fastest speeds in the Ridata flash card product line to date.

The non-volatile memory card features dual channels of data throughput to achieve the high-speed reading of 233X (approximately 35MB/per sec), and high-speed writing of 100X (about 15MB/per second). Read and write speeds will vary depending on the device used. The card also offers low power consumption with automatic power management and conforms to the Compact Flash Association Standard.

The CF card is designed to be compatible with most devices and operating systems including PC card Standard, PC card ATA compatible, and true IDE Mode compatible.
It is also host ATA disk I/O BIOS, DOS and Windows file system, utilities, and application software compatible. The controller supports Ultra DMA Mode up to Mode 4. CIS is implemented with 256 bytes of attribute memory. The CF cards also supports 8 or 16 bit host transfers with any host speed using IORDY and has Error Correction Code (ECC) embedded. Apart from faster speeds, Ridata Lightning cards also are very durable and can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from below freezing to very high heat.

The Ridata Compact Flash Series has a MSRP of $60 for 4GB, $100 for 8GB and $190 for 16GB. Initial distribution is planned for early September in North America. As with other RIDATA products, it will be available through selected retailers, Ridata distributors, and at various online outlets.
