New York, NY, January 6, 2005- Haier America, a company specialized in consumer electronics and mobile telephony, introduces its new line of GSM/GPRS and CDMA cell phones at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, including the new and unique Haier P7 using cutting-edge technology in an elegantly unique design.

The P7, with its intriguing slim form and elegant style, demands attention with an integrated VGA digital camera, 65K color LCD, and polyphonic ring tones. It is a new and unique cell phone that is destined to create new trends and define new concepts. The sleek P7 cell phone can be easily clipped onto a shirt pocket.

The Haier P7 is not just a mobile phone: it is the next step in the evolution of technology and style. The P7, a tri-band GSM/GPRS Class 12 cell phone, is extremely compact and lightweight (150x27x18.2mm and 65 grams) and provides excellent performance in a small package. It has up to three hours of talk time and 120-140 hours of stand-by time. The P7 has a 65K color LCD, integrated VGA digital camera, 40 polyphonic ring tones, WAP 2.0, SMS, MMS, downloadable ring tones and pictures, 300 phone book entries, vibrate, hands free speaker phone, voice memo, voice commands, a scheduler, calculator, alarm, and games.

The flagship product of Haier’s new collection of cell phones, the P7 is another step forward in the evolution of the cell phone and a distinguished benchmark of the Haier brand.
