Radiosophy™ LLC announced today shipments of the award-winning MultiStream™ HD Radio have begun. The MultiStream HD radio is the first transportable table-top receiver and handles multiple digital streams as well as all existing radio station signals.

“We’re excited to be shipping the MultiStream HD to the loyal customers who have waited patiently with us throughout the extended design and manufacturing process,” commented Bill Billings, founder and Chief Technical Officer. “We feel this radio is well worth the wait.”

The MultiStream HD retails for $269 and offers the latest HD Radio technology. The receiver can be removed from its speaker-base dock and taken from room to room or to the car or boat (adapter kit required). External connections for existing audio systems include: optical out, stereo RCA out or stereo mini-jack. The full function clock-radio will receive standard analog AM/FM radio signals as well as multiple streams that digital stations are broadcasting. Included with the MultiStream HD are external AM/FM antennas for better reception.

Scrolling text information, such as song titles, artist name, traffic updates, news alerts, weather forecasts, etc. is displayed on a large LCD display. A USB port has been added to the receiver to allow easy updates of the software via the Internet.

Radios can be ordered online at http://www.radiosophy.com or by calling 1-877-443-7234.
