Projectiondesign FL32 LED Projector

FL32
Norway’s projectiondesign will introduce the brand new FL32 LED projector designed for mission critical 24/7 operations, and simulation and visualization applications. The FL32 is the company’s first solid-state LED-based projection system promising greatly enhanced image performance, and lowered cost of ownership.

The FL32 is available with either native 1080p or WUXGA resolution options and requires ultra-low maintenance, thanks to its 100,000 hour expected LED-technology life. Based on the hugely successful F30/F32 single-chip DLP platform, the FL32 is the first projector to use the company’s new ReaLED™ LED illumination technology.

The FL32 reduces visible image artifacts over competing technologies and products, by reducing motion smear and blur, color separation and image processing-related artifacts. Furthermore, image and projector performance is independent of projector orientation and position for the ultimate installation flexibility. Key markets are simulation and training systems, rear projection monitoring installations, as well as general front and rear projection applications that need high resolution and low maintenance.

ReaLED technology is projectiondesign’s unique implementation of high performance solid state LED illumination technology, paired with the patented optical system of the F32 platform projectors.

“With our revolutionary new FL32 projector, we make available perfect building blocks for scalable and durable systems, and promise extremely low operating and ownership costs. There is no longer a need to replace consumables during the projector’s working life, ensuring a very high degree of color accuracy and image performance. It is ideal for 24/7 operation installations,” explains Anders Lokke, International Marketing & Communications Manager at projectiondesign.

The FL32 uses projectiondesign’s unique RealColor™ colour management suite for accurate calibration and setup. Packed with all the installation, technology and 1080 and WUXGA benefits to be found in the company’s F32 series projectors, the new FL32 projector also features greatly enhanced colour reproduction and formidable dynamic range imaging. A wide range of high performance projection lenses is available for added installation flexibility.

“We are excited about launching the brand new FL32 projector to the professional audio visual community at InfoComm. It is the perfect environment to demonstrate to our loyal partners, end users and potential customers alike the installation flexibility, image qualities and benefits of this new technology, especially in the challenging economic climate where maintenance and operation costs efficiencies are increasingly important,” adds Lokke.

The F32 will be shown at Booth #3761 at InfoComm 09 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, from June 17–19 2009.
