Weehawken, NJ (September 18, 2007) — Origin Digital, Inc., a global video applications service provider, today announced it will be hosting a webinar titled, “Leveraging UGV to Extend Your Brand” on Wednesday, September 19th at 1 PM EDT. The webinar, moderated by analyst Paul Palumbo of Accustream iMedia Research, will focus on the trends surrounding UGV and how it has evolved as a vehicle for communications, entertainment and information distribution.

Participants will include moderator Paul Palumbo, Analyst with Accustream iMedia Research, Matthew Elefant, President of Origin Digital and Scott Smith, Director of Product Management of Limelight Networks, a leading content delivery network (CDN) for digital media. Matt Elefant will lend his expertise of bridging traditional, broadcast-centric technologies with the new age of Internet convergence; while Scott Smith will share his knowledge of how content delivery networks connect brands with customers through UGC and UGV.

An early pioneer in video application services since the late 1990s, Origin Digital enables the management, transformation and distribution of content for its customers to extend their digital media presence across multiple mediums. The first company to offer an on-line production center in the market; the first to launch a Video Serving Portal; and the first to deliver live pay-per-view entertainment over the Internet, Origin Digital continues to be an industry originator with the support of distribution for the iPhone and the first to deliver on-demand video, audio and user generated content capabilities to support virtual worlds including Second Life.
