Niles Audio Corporation today announced that it is now shipping the IntelliControl ICS IM-iCARD2 iPod Integration Module, plus two new iWARE connectivity solutions for iPod: the SmartDock2 Docking Station and the ES2 Wall Mount Extender System.
These three new products provide compatibility with all the latest iPod devices, supporting Apple’s new iPod charging circuitry. Niles is proud to announce that the IntelliControl ICS IM-iCARD2, the SmartDock2, and the ES2 are fully compatible with all new-generation iPods. In addition to this enhanced functionality, the two new iWARE products, the SmartDock2 and the ES2, are now fully compatible with the ZR-6 MultiZone Receiver. System designers and installers now have the opportunity to specify complete iPod solutions for this popular whole-house audio system.

The SmartDock2 is an iPod docking/charging station that conveniently switches iPod connections between iTunes operating on a PC, and Niles MultiZone systems with the touch of a button. It is also a convenient way to keep the iPod charged. The ES2 Wall Mount Extender System enables the user to locate the iPod that’s connected to the system virtually anywhere in the home, while preserving the signal quality and the iPod menu system. It utilizes balanced/differential audio to maintain pristine audio quality and to reject noise and hum pickup. The third new product is the IntelliControl ICS IM-iCARD2 iPod Integration Module: a new IntelliControl ICS source card that, like the SmartDock2 and ES2, addresses new-generation iPod compatibility issues. The IM-iCARD2 also integrates exclusively with the SmartDock2 and ES2, to provide system designers and installers with a complete IntelliControl ICS iPod solution.
The SmartDock2 and the ES2 each retail for $149.95. The IntelliControl ICS IM-iCARD2 retails for $249.95. All models are currently shipping.
