Novosoft LLC, Russia, has released new version of backup program — Handy Backup 4.8. You can use it to make a reserve copy of any valuable data on your system. Now automated backup to DVD, CD, USB flash drives and any FTP server can be done with a few clicks.
This program has assumed to routinely keep necessary files, folder, programs, Microsoft Outlook, ICQ files and Windows registry. A user has a possibility to choose time and place, i.e. how often the program will copy necessary files (daily, weekly, twice a month etc.) and where this data will be kept. And then careful Handy Backup will follow these instructions.
Handy Backup user can keep information on remote FTP-server that support secure with MD4/MD5 passwords. It is comfortable and safely way. You save backup copies on a FTP site which identify you by personal username and password.
You also can copy you data to another drive in you local area network (LAN). Using this feature you will secure information with 128-bit encryption so unauthorized person couldn’t get it. But you will be able to do this so easy and comfortable as you do with local folders on your PC.
Finally, if you have CD-RW, DVD-RW device installed on your system or USB flash driver, possibly it is better for you to backup data by this ways. Once you point at all files and folders that need to save and then Handy Backup will remind of next process ahead on time. In addition if you plan to save huge amount of data that exceeds the size of one CD or DVD, Handy Backup would divide into parts and save on some disks.
Reserve coping by Handy backup is advantageously different from saving by hand. This program copies every file from marked folder not just documents that you work with at this moment. So your data always is safe.
