Monster announced the ClarityHD Micro, a compact portable bluetooth speaker and speakerphone for listening to music and making calls. The device significantly enhances the quality of music playback, as well as the on-the-go capabilities of Smartphones and other devices. The ultra-compact listening solution delivers crystal clear audio, made possible through the inclusion of advanced AAC and apt-X digital processing for clean, best-in-class wireless stereo sound and crystal clear phone calls.

For total user flexibility, it may also be used with a wired connection using a standard 3.5 mm headphone port, which is ideal for products that do not have Bluetooth support. For an even more robust stereo experience, you can even use two ClarityHD Micros together. The precision omnidirectional microphone is ideal for instant conference calls, voice/video chats on Skype or hands-free calls on a mobile phone. The advanced Lithium Ion batteries provide up to 5 hours of quality listening on a single charge. Notably, with a range of up to 30 feet, the speaker delivers powerful, room-filling sound that belies its small size.

Monster engineered the sleek and compact ClarityHD Micro to provide today’s “multi-tasking” music lover with a high-quality audio solution for great sounding music, with the option of switching seamlessly to a conference or personal call. The high-performance ClarityHD Micro lets you jump onto crisp sounding conference calls anytime and anywhere, even while commuting to work.

Notably, a special Voice Command and Control function lets users make and answer calls, play music, perform Bluetooth pairing and many other functions via simple voice commands. Another innovative and fun lifestyle benefit lets users change their ClarityHD Micro’s voice anytime they want, selecting from multiple voices available on the Monster website for download. Best of all, the ClarityHD Micro is small enough to carry to the office, take on vacations or business trips, or just go along with you whenever you want great sounding music and hands-free calling at your fingertips The included wrist strap makes carrying the ClarityHD Micro a snap.

Price and Availability
The Monster ClarityHD Micro Speaker will be available March 2012 for $219.95. It will be available in black with black grilles and white with stainless grilles. In the coming months, interchangeable optional grilles that attach magnetically will be available in a number of colors and styles.
