MobiTV Executive To Keynote At
Fall Focus: Making Media Meaningful

Dallas, TX November 4, 2005 — Parks Associates announced today that David Whetstone, Chief Marketing Officer at MobiTV, Inc. (formerly known as Idetic, Inc.), will present the morning keynote, “Mobile TV: Content on Consumers’ Terms,” at Fall Focus: Making Media Meaningful on Friday, November 11, at 9:00 a.m.

Fall Focus, an executive conference hosted by leading market analysts Parks Associates, features leading executives and analysts examining the changing market dynamics in the digital content and distribution industries. Fall Focus: Making Media Meaningful will be held Nov 9-11, 2005, at the Fairmont San Jose.

“We look forward to contributing to next week’s Fall Focus conference and sharing our expertise in the areas of mobile television, digital music and made-for-mobile content,” said Jason Taylor, Director of Corporate Communications at MobiTV.

Research from Parks Associates indicates a small but dedicated segment of consumers will drive the early market for video content and live TV services on portable and mobile platforms. Mobile Entertainment Platforms & Services, featuring a survey of more than 2,000 U.S. Internet users, found 13% of those who own one or more portable devices would like to see capabilities for live TV integrated into these devices. The majority of these consumers belong to a consumer segment dubbed Mobile Aficionados, which consists of more than 40 million Internet users.

The MobiTV service is available in the US through Sprint, Cingular and several regional carriers; in the United Kingdom through 3 and Orange UK; and is now available to Canadian customers through Bell Canada, Rogers and TELUS Mobility. The Emmy Award winning service now reaches more than half a million subscribers and offers many popular TV channels from content providers such as MSNBC, ABC News Now, CNN, Fox Sports, ESPN 3GTV, NBC Mobile, CNBC, The Discovery Channel, The Weather Channel and others that deliver cartoons, music videos and comedy. MobiTV also has a full line up of geographically specific channels. Founded in 1999, MobiTV is a privately-held company headquartered in Emeryville, CA. “MobiTV, with more than half a million paying subscribers in the U.S. alone, will provide our audience with great insight based on its experiences servicing mobile carriers and consumers worldwide,” said Yuanzhe (Michael) Cai, Director of Broadband and Gaming for Parks Associates. “MobiTV is at the forefront of serving media to consumers at any place and any time, and we are pleased to have them at Fall Focus.”
