Some people buy headphones. Others buy jewellery that happens to play music. Loewe x Jacob & Co. just dropped a limited run of ten bespoke models that blur the line between high fashion and high fidelity. The NOIR RAINBOW sparkles under 15.97 carats of multicolour sapphires, while the ICE DIAMOND glows with 12.47 carats of pure white stones.
Designed to dazzle as much as they perform, these headphones fuse AI brains, adaptive noise cancellation, and real-time translation with the kind of jewellery craftsmanship usually locked in a vault. Sure, they’ve got 65 hours of battery life — but let’s be real, these aren’t the cans you wear on the 6 train.

Beyond the glitter, the tech runs deep. Loewe x Jacob & Co. didn’t just glue diamonds to a driver — they built serious hardware under the sparkle; although we’ll need to hear them before determining how they challenge the best in category from DALI, Focal, or Bowers & Wilkins.
The NOIR RAINBOW model will set you back about $115,000 USD, while the ICE DIAMOND takes the crown at $135,000 USD. At those prices, let’s just say they’re better suited to a penthouse playlist than a morning commute.

Loewe and Jacob & Co. Launch Ultra-Luxury Headphones Aboard the Loewe Yacht in Monte Carlo — Where High Fashion Meets 007
Off the sun-drenched coast of the Côte d’Azur, Monaco, August 27th, 2025, Loewe and Jacob & Co. staged an unveiling fit for a Bond scene — only this time, the gadgets were headphones and the villainy optional. Aboard the Loewe Yacht D55 Sportiva, built by Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. and designed by Studio Dini, the aluminium hull gleamed like liquid steel under the Mediterranean sun, reflecting the same sculptural precision Loewe puts into its designs.
Flying the Maltese flag, the yacht wasn’t just a backdrop — it was a co-star, a floating showcase of Italian craftsmanship and quiet menace, the kind that makes you check your cufflinks twice. Against this cinematic setting, Loewe x Jacob & Co. debuted their limited-edition headphones, where high fashion collides with high fidelity, and even 007 might hesitate before sliding them into a carry-on.

Loewe, synonymous with German engineering, acoustic precision, and technological innovation, joined forces with Jacob & Co., renowned for bold, dazzling high-jewellery and timepiece creations, to present an objet d’art meant to be seen, felt, and heard — and definitely not worn walking through Penn Station, unless you’re looking to make a cameo in the New York Post Metro Crime Blotter.
“This innovative project honors both heritage and forward-thinking design. Our collaboration is unique and exclusive, bringing together two worlds that, at their core, serve the same discerning clientele. By uniting Jacob & Co.’s artistry in high jewellery and timepieces with Loewe’s mastery in acoustic precision, technology, and design, we are shaping experiences that are not only luxurious but also seamlessly connected to modern lifestyles. This partnership symbolizes the craftsmanship and values shared by both our Maisons, redefining what it means to merge technology with art,” explained Aslan Khabliev, CEO & Owner, Loewe Technology, and Jacob Arabo, Chairman & CEO, Jacob & Co.

Loewe Leo Headphones Hit the U.S. — The Real Model Beneath All That Bling
The Loewe Leo, the core headphone design behind the jeweled collaboration, quietly launched in the U.S. last month for $1,680. Strip away the sapphires and diamonds, and this is the model doing the real work — the same acoustic engineering, AI integration, and adaptive noise-cancellation tech without the carats or the bodyguard. Considering the NOIR RAINBOW and ICE DIAMOND versions run close to six figures, you’re essentially paying a CanJam’s worth of flagship gear for the gemstones.
The Loewe Leo marks the brand’s first move into high-end personal audio, building on its long tradition in televisions, radios, and speakers. Designed as a standalone Hi-Fi audio solution, Leo integrates a high-quality DAC, built-in amplifier, and 50 mm drivers with full high-resolution codec support in a fold-flat design built for mobility and durability.

The drivers feature OCE (Olefin Composite Elastomer) diaphragms, lightweight and rigid, providing fast response and natural damping for clear vocals, detailed highs, and controlled bass.
Leo offers adaptive noise cancellation, transparency mode, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Spatial Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio support. Using LC3+ at 96 kHz / 24-bit, it delivers uncompromising high-resolution wireless playback. Mimi Sound Personalization, available via the Loewe Leo app, adjusts sound to each listener’s hearing profile.
Rotary dials and touch controls ensure easy operation, while features like voice assistant support, real-time AI translation, and multipoint connectivity make the Leo a complete smart audio companion.
Weighing 360 g, the headphones house a 3.7 V / 660 mAh battery, providing up to 65 hours of playback. With an IP53 rating, they are protected against dust and light water exposure.
Loewe designed the Leo with sustainability in mind: most components are repairable, replaceable, and upgradeable for years of performance. The anodised aluminium frame, genuine leather ear cushions, and ergonomic design combine durability, comfort, and luxury — reflecting Loewe’s philosophy of craftsmanship with responsibility.
The Bottom Line
At the end of the day, Loewe Leo is where the engineering actually lives — precise drivers, advanced AI, high-res codecs, and 65 hours of playback all in a lightweight, durable package. The NOIR RAINBOW and ICE DIAMOND editions are for those who want their sound to sparkle as much as their jewelry collection. Diamonds are forever, but let’s be honest — you’re mostly paying for the carats, not the codecs.

Your sarcasm is showing. Subtle. Unlike these ridiculous headphones.
I suspect they’re already spoken for.
More money than brains I suppose.

Anton,
Envy doesn’t suit anyone. Are they unbelievably expensive? For sure. My bigger takeaway is that I want to hear the base model which actually look like a good pair of wireless headphones. Subtlety is not my style.
