KA Marketing Announces Bigger 2007 Electronics Expo II

Dallas, TX (February 09, 2007) — KA Marketing, the prominent regional firm that represents the leading home-theater, electronic home and related product lines, says that this year’s exposition, EXPO II, is now a two-day event: Wednesday, February 28th, and Thursday, March 1st, 2007. The event will be hosted in Dallas at the well-known United Leather USA factory, one of America’s leading home theatre furnishings manufacturers.

Prepping for this Second Annual New Products and Training Exposition, KA Marketing Principal Andrew Ard says, “There are lots of exciting new products and systems from our premier brands this year — and we’re proud to add CEDIA Training and Certification during the show itself. Combined with manufacturers’ training, we added an extra day to cover it all.” Last year’s exposition drew almost two hundred home theatre and consumer electronic product dealers, salespeople and installers from all over KA Marketing’s territory: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

So many consumer electronics manufacturers participate in the event that EXPO II is only product showcase of its kind in the territory. Dealers will be able to talk one on one with factory principals and managers, and a wide array of product lines will be demonstrated in United Leather’s showrooms.

EXPO II Adds CEDIA Certification, System and Product Training For the first time, KA Marketing will be offering Certification training (Home Theater Audio Boot Camp, Installer Level I Review and Installer Level I exam) in conjunction with the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA). CEDIA-certified professionals are a select group of proven experts who are committed to a higher standard of education and customer satisfaction.

“It’s a significant addition,” says Ard. “There’s so much more to supporting the customer experience than advanced hardware, it’s crucial that local dealers and their installers have the training to offer seamless installations, too. Now, CEDIA Certification is all part of EXPO II.”

Life|ware, the newest addition to the KA Marketing mix, is also being unveiled at EXPO II. “We are thrilled to be the new territory representatives for Life|ware,” says KA Marketing partner Michael Coughlin. “We can’t wait for our dealers to experience Life|ware firsthand.” Life|ware will feature a three-hour training course by Exceptional Innovations, and 90-minute training and demo sessions with multiple whole-house control functionality. Life|ware combines digital entertainment with home automation in a ‘Media Center’ environment.

Russound, the New England-based manufacturer of whole-house audio systems, will conduct an all-day training session on RNET, plus additional 90-minute sessions on other products. RNET technology allows all Russound Smart components to talk to each other and makes them easy to use. For installers, RNET speeds design and system configuration, saving time and money.

“In fact, all of our manufacturers will be offering demonstrations and technical mini-session training opportunities — maybe we should have made EXPO II a week long instead of just two days,” says Ard. Exhibitors will include Russound, Life|ware, Runco, Triad, Niveus Media, Mirage, Athena, Energy, Audio Control, Da-Lite, Krell, Media Decor, Music Giants, Visual Sports Systems, PHC, APC AV, Qsonix, Vidikron, United Leather and Wireworld.

The 2007 KA Marketing EXPO II will take place on the premises of United Leather, 1233 E. Levee Street, Dallas, TX 75207.
