Innovative Smart Interactive Whiteboard System Powered by HQV Processing

San Jose, California–(JUNE 7, 2006)–Silicon Optix, a leading supplier of advanced video-image digital processing systems and integrated circuits (ICs), announced today that SMART Technologies Inc. has introduced the SMART Board 600i interactive whiteboard system (600i system) that will feature the Realta HQV video engine. The 600i system combines a SMART Board interactive whiteboard and the new Unifi projector,in which the Realta HQV video engine is housed. The system will be featured at SMART’s booth 1431 at InfoComm.

Realta HQV originates from Teranex’s broadcast and postproduction platform. Teranex’s software algorithms run on Realta’s trillion-operations-per-second video engine to deliver a new standard in image quality, a standard Silicon Optix is calling Hollywood Quality Video, or HQV.
