HAI’S SNAP-LINK MOBILE PUTS HOME CONTROL IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

HAI’s Snap-Link Mobile allows you to monitor and control lights, security, audio, temperatures, and webcams on your cell phone. It will be introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 7 — 10, 2008.

New Orleans, LA – HAI (Home Automation, Inc.), a leading manufacturer of integrated automation and security products since 1985, is launching a cell phone (Smartphone) version of its award-winning Snap-Link software, called Snap-Link Mobile, at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Snap-Link Mobile allows you to monitor and control lights, security, audio, temperatures, and webcams on handheld mobile devices, such as PDAs, Smartphones, or other devices running Windows Mobile operating software. It is designed specifically for a mobile device with a Touchscreen, navigation key, or scroll wheel.

Simply click on the HAI logo that appears on your phone/PDA and you have instant access to your Snap-Link home control page. From there you can:

– Conveniently control individual lights, turn off all lights in the home or room, dim lights or adjust preset lighting scenes.
– View real time video of surveillance cameras — see your front door, pool, boat dock, etc. (requires appropriate cellular provider plan and cameras.).
– Conserve energy by adjusting heating and cooling and view humidity and outdoor temperatures.
– Arm or disarm the alarm, view a security log to monitor activity of housekeepers, nannies, etc.
– Control your Whole Home Audio system. Select music source and adjust volume levels in individual rooms or the whole house.

Snap-Link Mobile will be shipping before the end of first quarter 2008. It requires an appropriate cellular provider plan and an HAI OmniPro II, OmniIIe, LuminaPro, or Lumina home control system. It is sold without subscription fees and users will receive updates for free. There is no set up for Snap-Link, simply download it directly into your mobile device. It features encrypted communications over Wi-Fi or cellular data networks.

HAI will be demonstrating Snap-Link Mobile in Booth 26421, South Hall at CES and at the Showstoppers Press reception to be held Jan. 7, 6-10pm at the Wynn Hotel.
