New York, NY, January 6, 2005- The Blue Thunder portable DVD player from Haier will be on hand at CES 2005. The advanced portable DVD player with multimedia features is an elegantly streamlined unit designed for ease of portability in the car or wherever else it might be taken.

Blue Thunder features an 8-inch liquid crystal display screen. The ergonomic design features a screen rotation of 180 degrees for an optimum viewing experience from any
angle. For convenient car installation, the Blue Thunder is fitted with a useful travel attachment that allows you to hang it on the back of a car seat headrest, eliminating the

need for complicated installation or the struggle to create a space in the vehicle. The Blue Thunder plays a wide variety of digital and audio formats and can be accessed by multimedia card or directly connected to a PC connection featuring high-speed USB interface. The CD-R/CD-RW feature allows digital photos to be recorded from a multimedia card to CD.

While Blue Thunder is one of this year’s new additions to Haier’s fast-growing consumer electronics line, the quality, style and innovative design of this portable DVD player make it right at home at Haier.
