HAI Lighting Control HLC Scene Switch Now Comes with Infrared Capability and Optional Handheld Remote

Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) is now shipping its HLC Scene Switch (HAI part number 38A00-1) with infrared capability. Additionally, HAI will be releasing an accompanying hand held ultra thin remote (HAI part number 38A14-1).

The Scene Switch controls all lights in a room or area. Lights may be turned on, off, dimmed, brightened, and set to four different scenes to enhance both security and aesthetic lighting. The buttons may be custom engraved so that a homeowner can “name” the scene that each button controls.

“The HLC Scene Switch with remote adds another level of convenience,” explains HAI President Jay McLellan. “Simply point and click the remote and you can control all of the lights in that room from your easy chair.”

HAI’s HLC line is a fully two-way communicating lighting control system. It has big-system features while being cost effective and installable on a modular basis. Homeowners can have sophisticated lighting control in a home theater or living room and add rooms as needs grow. Additionally, HLC switches can be tied into an HAI home control system or any UPBTM (Universal Powerline Bus) compatible automation controller for full fledged integrated lighting control coordinated with other events, such as time, motion, security modes, etc.

All HAI Lighting Control Products are UL Listed and use UPBTM — a digital communications standard for lighting and home control that ensures superior reliability. For more information, including technical specifications and how to purchase, please visit www.homeauto.com or call 800-229-7256.
