HAI will demonstrate the IP-based products in Booth 733 at Autovation in Denver, Colorado, September 13th-16th.

Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced the availability of IP-based advanced energy display options.

North America’s most prolific home automation systems are being linked with the Smart Grid by industry leader, HAI. HAI manufactures a family of central home control systems that manage lighting, temperature, security, audio/video, surveillance, access control, and more. These products can now be linked with Smart Grid related programs including Demand Response, Time of Use pricing, and Energy Awareness.

HAI’s new OmniTouch 5.7e and OmniTouch 10p Touchscreens are capable of displaying real time information about a home’s energy consumption, the current cost of energy, and notifications from the utility company.

HAI’s Omni and Lumina family of home control systems can also respond to changes in energy cost by controlling energy consuming devices in the home such as air conditioners, lighting, hot water heaters, pool/fountain pumps, and more.
