HAI Announces Availability of OmniTouch with Video, an Affordable Touchscreen Interface for the Award-Winning Omni Home Control Line of Products
Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products, has announced the availability of the OmniTouch with Video. This color touchscreen has all of the features of HAI’s original OmniTouch, plus the ability to see digital video of up to 6 cameras.
“It’s ideal for seeing who’s at the front door, pool, garage or nursery,” explains HAI President, Jay McLellan. “For example, it can automatically display the front door camera when the doorbell rings. The homeowner can then press and hold the camera selection button next to the video image to release a door strike and let the visitor in!”
In addition to the new video features, the OmniTouch’s responsive icons facilitate control of lights and small appliances, monitoring and adjustments of security and temperatures, including outdoor temperature and humidity, pool and spa temperatures, ventilation, decorative lighting, Multi-Room Audio systems, and other items under control of the Omni-family system.
The original OmniTouch won the CES Innovations 2003 Award, was named one of the Top Products of the Year by Home Automation magazine, won the Security Industry Association’s Product Achievement Award for Home Automation, and was named one of CE Pro Magazine’s High Impact Products of the Year.
