FlagHouse Improves Payroll Efficiency and Proactively Manages Benefits Plans to Support Their Growing Business

Edison, NJ (July 10, 2007) — CheckPoint HR, LLC, an innovator and leading Administrative Service Organization (ASO) that offers small- to mid-size organizations a single-source for human resources, payroll services, and benefits administration, today announced that FlagHouse, a global supplier of physical education equipment and products, has strengthened its payroll process and employee health care benefits. With the integration of CheckPoint HR’s on-demand Web-based portal, FlagHouse provides its employees with a centralized system to manage payroll activities and benefits information.

“With our previous large payroll provider, we experienced a variety of difficulties when processing payroll,” said Cathie Evanisko, director of HR, FlagHouse. “Since employing Checkpoint HR’s platform, we have automated all of our HR functions through the centralized Web-based portal. The simplicity and ease has helped us streamline our HR processes and provide our employees with an optimal user experience.”

Specializing in educational and recreational products for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, FlagHouse requires an efficient system to manage employee compensation and benefits. CheckPoint HR’s Web-based system has mitigated potential errors associated with processing payroll, benefits and other personnel information. Having both payroll and benefits within the same system provides better visibility, giving FlagHouse’s HR team robust reporting at their fingertips and reporting controls to manage their employees.

Since selecting CheckPoint HR in 2004, FlagHouse has experienced a significant return on its initial investment. The Wilshire Group, CheckPoint HR’s wholly owned benefits subsidiary, renegotiates employee benefits each year by researching various health care carriers and has consistently delivered the most cost-effective benefits for FlagHouse. “At the next renewal period, FlagHouse is looking to automate their employee benefits open enrollment through electronic open enrollment feature,” said Patrick Carragher, CheckPoint HR partner.

“Our HR department needs to rely on automation of all aspects of HR so we can focus on the strategic and ‘human’ component in human resources and support our employees on multiple fronts,” added Evanisko. “We are also optimizing the CheckPoint HR recruiting and online training components to gain better quality candidates and supply them with training programs that can be accessed 24/7 from our portal. Having benefits and payroll under one roof helps us deliver maximum value to our employees at a minimal cost to our company.”
