Gibson Guitar Hosts Innovative New Products at CES 2008

Gibson’s Latest Advances in Technology Take Center Stage at Booth CP1 (Central Plaza 1)

January 7-10, 2008 Consumer Electronics Show -Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada…December 31, 2007…Gibson Guitar, the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturer and leader in music technology will exhibit a host of products at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas January 7-10, 2008 at booth CP1 (Central Plaza 1). Along with the exhibits, guests can expect daily entertainment by some of the world’s best known musicians and surprise celebrity sightings. Gibson will showcase the Gibson Robot Guitar, a self-tuning guitar which set the industry on fire in December with record sales and major media attention. The guitar has earned a place on this year’s CES Cherry Picks.

Daily demonstrations at the Gibson Guitar booth will include the Gibson Robot Guitar, the HD.6X Pro Digital Guitar System, pianos from the new Baldwin Exotic Collection, the Wurlitzer Digital Princess Jukebox and select Gibson, Maestro and Epiphone guitars. Gibson Guitar Chairman and CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz will host a private demonstration of the Take Anywhere Technology product and guests can experience their moment of rock star fame when they sit down at one of the many Gibson guitar pods throughout the booth.

The Gibson booth has become known as the best place to hang out with musical celebrities and enjoy free live performances. This year guests can enjoy performances by Kevin Costner, Rocco DeLuca, and Peter Frampton. Tuesday night will be a special night hosted by NBC-TV and guests could have the chance to mingle with some of their favorite NBC stars. Special surprise celebrities are being scheduled throughout each day and daily schedules will be issued on site.

Gibson is known worldwide for producing classic models in every major style of fretted instrument, including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolins, and banjos. Gibson’s HD.6X-PRO Digital Guitar and the Gibson Robot Guitar represent the biggest advances in electric guitar design in over 70 years.
