Up to 5.1 channels of digital audio in Dolby Digital Surround sound is converted to the analog two-channel (left/right) format using this plug and play decoder. It accepts digital audio in both TOSlink and S/PDIF formats, converting it to L/R analog audio that connects directly to your existing powered speakers for rich, two-channel sound. A tiny switch on the Decoder selects either the S/PDIF or TOSlink format.
