Frys Electronics Caters To Audio/Video Enthusiasts with New Line of Accell Performance A/V and Digital Imaging Cables

All 28 Fry’s retail locations to carry Accell’s premium line of affordable, performance cables including UltraAudio, UltraVideo and UltraAV2 kits

FREMONT, CALIF., Feb. 8, 2005 – Accell Corporation, a provider of premium audio/video interconnects, computer cables and mobile device accessories, today announced that its products are now available at Fry’s Electronics, a major technology superstore with 28 locations in California, Illinois, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Fry’s will carry Accell’s full line of premium audio, video and digital imaging interconnect solutions including the UltraAudio(tm), UltraVideo(tm), UltraAV2(tm) and UltraCam(tm) product lines.

Accell cables are constructed of the highest quality materials, meeting or exceeding industry standards, providing an exceptional combination of performance and value. Accell UltraVideo cables deliver the purest, sharpest video, fully optimizing the home theater experience. Accell UltraAudio cables are ideal for distributing a pure audio signal for accurate, natural sound reproduction. Accell UltraCam digital camera and camcorder cables provide a pure signal for extremely accurate sound and picture transfer.

“Our original alliance with Fry’s Electronics was focused on our UltraCam cables and Fry’s customers confirmed an unsatisfied demand for premium connectivity at affordable price points,” said Tenny Sin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Accell. “Now more than ever, audio and video quality is greatly dependant on the cable that carries the signal. Fry’s decision to expand the availability of additional Accell cables will provide its customers with alternatives to higher priced cable brands while still delivering the performance and reliability they need.”

Accell cables are designed for audio, video and imaging enthusiasts who are purchasing HDTVs, plasmas, flat-panel LCDs, digital projectors, high-end audio receivers, DVD and CD players, top-of-the-line digital cameras, and DV camcorders. These savvy consumers are well aware that generic cables provide minimal performance driving them to purchase enhanced connectivity
solutions to ensure an optimum experience. The Fry’s line-up of Accell
