JVC Arsenal KD-AR755, AR555 and KD-R750, R650 Head Units

KD-AR755

For 2014, JVC released four single-DIN car stereo head units, priced from $105 to $130. They feature illuminated USB ports as well as detachable faceplate security and 6-key preset station keys on the front faceplate. New models will include double the amount of available preset EQ settings from six to twelve and new digital processing tuners for better AM and FM reception quality.

Operation of both Pandora Internet Radio iHeart Radio by Clear Channel apps via receiver keys is available on three out of four new models; supporting iPhone through a USB connection and allowing the user to access key functions such as: station selection, play, pause, and new custom station creation from the receiver. Dedicated thumb-up and thumb down (skip) control keys for the apps are located on the faceplate while song information from both apps is displayed on-screen during listening.

The Arsenal KD-AR755 In-Dash Receiver ($129.95, pictured top) includes a high-amp USB Port, AUX input, and Pandora®Internet Radio and iHeart Radio by Clear Channel application control for iPhone (USB). The unit has a 3-Zone Variable color illuminated LCD panel allowing users to choose from over 30,000 custom color combinations while preset fluid moving illumination modes and color schemes are also selectable for individual customizations. It also features Front, Rear, and Subwoofer 4.8 Volt Line Outputs, steering wheel remote control add-on capability and  $129.95. JVC’s Arsenal line of receivers are supported by a manufacturer’s two year warranty.

KD-R750

The KD-R750 In-Dash Receiver ($119.95) includes a high-amp USB Port, AUX input, and Pandora Internet Radio and iHeart Radio by Clear Channel application control for iPhone (USB). It also has a 3-Zone Variable color illuminated LCD, features Front and Selectable Rear/Sub Line Outputs, steering wheel remote control add-on capability.

KD-AR555

The Arsenal KD-AR555 In-Dash Receiver ($109.95) is a single-zone variable color receiver including a high-amp USB Port with MP3/WMA playback capability, AUX input, Front and Selectable Rear/Sub Line Outputs, and steering wheel remote control add-on capability. The unit includes a manufacturer’s two year warranty.

KD-R650

The KD-R650 In-Dash Receiver ($104.95) includes a high-amp USB Port, AUX input and Pandora®Internet Radio and iHeart Radio by Clear Channel application control for iPhone (USB). It features Front and Selectable Rear/Sub Line Outputs.

These four models will join an overall lineup of nine Single-DIN CD Receivers plus three new Digital Media (Mechless) Receivers which will be announced later at the 2014 CES show in January.
