Fossil Introduces Worlds First Palm Powered Watch!

Fossil’s Wrist PDA is a New Electronic Personal Organizer Cleverly Disguised as a Stylish Wristwatch

Fossil, Inc. (NASDAQ: FOSL), a leading innovator of watch design, development and fashion accessories, today announced the world’s first Palm Powered watch with a capability of 8 MB of memory. The Wrist PDA with Palm OS provides consumers with a portable and stylish way to organize their personal information. Customizable watch faces allow consumers to change their watch face to suit their own personal style, while the memory gives storage for thousands of addresses, years of appointments, memos, third-party Palm OS applications and more.

Additional features of the Wrist PDA with Palm OS include a high density 160 x 160 pixel grayscale LCD with touch screen and backlight, a stylus cleverly integrated into the watch buckle for easy access and a comfortable fit, one-handed navigation using the 3-way Rocker switch and Back button, the ability to beam data to another Palm Powered device via the Infrared Port, USB HotSync support for Mac OS and Windows, and a lithium-ion rechargeable battery that lasts approximately 3-4 days based on conditions of use. The battery can be recharged with the included AC adapter.

“The Wrist PDA with Palm OS from Fossil showcases the power and flexibility of the Palm OS platform and provides consumers with a great way to stay connected while on the move,” said David Nagel, president and chief executive officer for PalmSource, Inc. “We believe the combination of the industry-leading Palm OS and Fossil’s strong brand in the watch market will provide an innovative and fun Palm Powered mobile device.”

“This is the first Palm Powered organizer that a user can carry with them all the time.”, said Frank Romero, Director of Technology Product for Fossil, Inc. “This product changes the usage model of Palm OS based organizers, giving users access to their personal information by simply wearing a watch.”

The new Wrist PDA is available in two different brands, FOSSIL and ABACUS. The FOSSIL branded product (FX2008) with stainless steel case and black leather strap, can be found at Fossil stores nationwide or at www.fossil.com. The FOSSIL Wrist PDA is priced at a MSRP of $249.00 USD.

The ABACUS brand Wrist PDA product (AU5005) has a stainless steel case and rubber strap with padded black leather inlay, will be available exclusively through a direct sales and marketing partner, Tiger Direct. Product information is available at www.abacuswatches.com and the product can be purchased at www.TigerDirect.com. The ABACUS Wrist PDA is priced at a MSRP of $199.00 USD.
