See, touch, and demo the next generation of personal media players, home networking solutions, HDTV, digital music, and more–all under one roof.

New York, NY–February 2005–The stage is set and the curtain will rise on April 28 for a return engagement of the popular Home Entertainment Show–the high-performance sound and imaging event of the year. HE-2005 will take place April 28–May 1, 2005, once again at the Hilton New York Hotel, only steps away from Broadway, marking the seventh time the event has been held in New York City.

PRIMEDIA’s Home Technology Group of leading online and print publications is cosponsoring the event, including: Stereophile, Home Theater, connectedguide.com, UltimateAVmag.com, Petersen’s PHOTOgraphic, and Shutterbug.

While the first day of the Show is reserved exclusively for members of the trade and global press, the public is invited to take part in three full days of previewing the latest in high-tech convergence, home audio, and home theater components. Millions of dollars’ worth of products will be displayed and demonstrated in upscale rooms at the Hilton that will be transformed into mini living rooms for the ultimate listening and viewing experiences.

Included in the price of admission are the free educational seminars that will take place throughout the Show. Attendees can get the inside scoop on the latest technologies from leaders in the fields of convergence, home theater, and HDTV. Not to be missed is the popular “Ask the Editors” panel, where attendees can pick the brains of the ever-controversial Stereophile editors.

Live, free musical performances by jazz, blues, and pop-music artists will take place in various locations of the Hilton during the Show, including special appearances and autograph sessions with music and sports celebrities.

Digital photography enthusiasts will enjoy a special workshop where they can learn about the latest advancements, preview the newest imaging equipment, and learn tips of the trade from the editors of Petersen’s PHOTOgraphic and Shutterbug magazines.
