The 2006 introduction of the world’s first FIT, ELAN’s Ole, ushered in a whole new era of customized control and changed the world of custom A/V with its innovative patent-pending combination of touch screen functionality, keypad-like simplicity, affordability, and never-before-seen level of customization. Now, with the addition of OleXL, there are two best-of-breed options from which homeowners can control all their entertainment throughout the house while matching their decor and lifestyles.
OleXL offers a step-up, yet still affordable, option for personalized control of multi-room A/V systems and delivers the same extraordinary functionality and value as the original Ole — and then some. OleXL also features the same styles and colors of slide-in designer films and on-wall frames, but now offers even more customization of control and feedback through its larger 2.1″ OLED display area and user-friendly 15-function layout. As a result, ELAN Dealers now have access to two highly unique and sophisticated yet affordable user interfaces that will suit more clients.
The larger display, with its six lines of metadata from 2-way sources, provides a more detailed view of “Now Playing” information from source components such as iPod and XM Satellite Radio. Additional soft buttons, with icons or text, can be arranged right over the display area to provide more control options such as multiple source select pages, numeric keypad, DVD/DVR menu navigation and sub-system control.

These distinctive films match the existing Ole lineup and are offered in a variety of styles, themes and colors ranging from southwest to the mountains, beach and more. Designed to match virtually any personal taste, OleXL films also feature a simple, user-friendly button layout.
