ELAN University Continues to Flourish, Providing Dealers With Unmatched Tools and Resources for Success
LEXINGTON, KY — ELAN Home Systems, a leading manufacturer of award-winning distributed audio/video and home control systems, today announced that the number of courses taken through the company’s ground-breaking ELAN U online training program has surpassed the 100,000 mark with 107,533 courses taken in the program’s three year history. The announcement was made by Paul Starkey, ELAN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Introduced in 2003, ELAN U is a comprehensive online training program that is dedicated to providing relevant and up-to-date information regarding the installation and support of ELAN’s extensive product line. It also offers courses on industry fundamentals such as wireless networking. Nearly 200 in-depth courses, designed to take custom Dealers and Installers step-by-step through basic system design and pre-wire, all the way up to programming, trim-out and systems integration, are available through ELAN U in four levels of certification: Professional Installer, Master Installer, PhD Installer and E² Installer.
ELAN U represents one tier in an extensive multi-tier strategic training initiative developed and offered by ELAN that also includes twice- monthly headquarters training, in-field regular regional training, new West coast quarterly training, and the company’s bi-annual Tech Week Installer training and bi-annual TRIO Business, Sales and Technical training summit.
